Old Memories (1972)

“Wants” were simple—
“Needs” were few—
“Life” was living—
And people were content.

The old pioneer ways are disappearing with new methods of transportation, new homes and machines. I tried to record for myself and others, memories that would soon only be history. These are scenes I recall while growing up on the reserve. Sketched in 1972 it is my hope that these images are recorded and never forgotten.
