Your designs using Daphne's art are spectacular. Is it possible to buy a shawl or a scarf in the Vancouver area? I have my favourite pieces of art, do you do any custom silk scarves? Eg. The shawl design on a smaller oblong silk scarf?

Hi Sheila:

I hope this message finds you well. Just wanted to let you know that I wore the winter white dress to an event at the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario's suite in Queen's Park at the end of September and I received so many compliments — men and women wanted to know where they could purchase the dress and/or other items!

On a related note — I have a national event coming up at the end of October and would love to purchase another one of your dresses - do you have it available in other colours? Or other designs? I would need it in a size 6…Please email or give me a call to discuss.

Genesis Fashion Show

The Kelowna Art Gallery was the place to be for the Western Canada launch of the Genesis line of women’s clothing, inspired by the art of one of Canada’s most celebrated artists, Daphne Odjig. These fashions, by award-winning designer Sheila Keighron, subtly incorporate and pay homage to the art of Daphne Odjig. Her long and close friendship with the artist inspired Keighron to create the Genesis collection, which includes many pieces, from soft, flowing full-length coats, to scarves infused with the wonderful colours of Odjig’s art.
